Nordic Meteorological Meeting, 27-29 May 2026

Welcome to the 34th Nordic Meteorological Meeting held in the Faroe Islands 27 – 29th of May, 2026.

We are looking forward to welcome you to the 34’th Nordic Meteorological Meeting in the place frequently termed the weather gods playground due to its unpredictable and dynamic weather.  This unique event offers to share knowledge,initiate and refuel friendships and collaboration, strengthen the connection between research and practical weather services in an community, where the weather is the initial topic in nearly all communications and optimal weather forecasts are of vital  importance for all outdoors activities.

Conference fee:

Early Bird registration before 26th January 2026 DKK 2450,-

Practical information

You are more than welcome to bring an accompanying person with you to the Faroe Islands. Just put the name in the comment, when booking the room and specify accompanying person.

Accomodation: 

• You will find our pre-booked accommodation options at favorable prices for all our anticipated conference participants. Rooms are pre-booked at Hilton Garden Inn Faroe Islands, Hotel Brandan and Hotel Føroyar. Booked accommodation is incl. breakfast. 

• Since the ammount of hotel rooms in Tórshavn is limited, do  we advise that you book accommodation when registering for the conference.
