The next triennial conference, the 11th Circumpolar Agricultural Conference, will be arranged by Búnaðarstovan – Agricultural Agency of the Faroe Islands – and will take place during the days of September 5th to 7th 2023 in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands.

The conference venue will be located at the renowned Nordic House in Tórshavn (Norðurlandahúsið í Føroyum www.nlh.fo).

The conference will embrace 2 days of indoor meetings and a 1 day field excursion. The conference language will be English.

• You are more than welcome to bring an accompanying person with you to the Faroe Islands. Just put the name in the comment, when booking the room and specify accompanying person.

• Please note that, the call for abstracts regarding presentations (oral og in writings), posters or other relevant material for the 11^th CAC 2023 is now open.
• Abstracts can be max. 250 words long and must be written in English and include text only (no pictures, graphics or references). Keywords can be included.  Please submit your abstract by e-mail to Búnaðarstovan – Agricultural Agency, at the distinct conference e-mail address: CAC2023@bst.fo Deadline for abstracts will be August 1st.

• Financial support

  Representatives of relevant local associations, NGOs, and youth associations in the CAA area can apply for a participation scholarship from a designated fund; however, the maximum amount is DKK 4000,- in each case.
